R&D Safe recycling of electroscrap

(2003-2005)

This R&D project´s objective is to propose an environmentaly friendly system of collection, disassembly and recycling of electronic equipment after its end of life and to verify technical and economic parametres for establishing a complex system solution in the Czech Republic .

Proposed system shall be tested in a pilot project and appropriate technologies will be identified. The project activities also include elaborating a strategy for handling electroscrap as a support tool for implementation of new waste legislation and implementation of newly proposed ES directive on electroscrap into our legal system.
